80kV WESP
Winstone Wallboards
As part of Project Basalt, HV Inspection Services was engaged by Aquaheat New Zealand to provide inspection and certification services for the Winstone Wallboards 80kV DC Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP). This advanced emissions reduction system is engineered to remove solid particulates from steam emissions generated during Gib wallboard production. Our involvement ensured the system met all electrical compliance and safety standards, contributing to a cleaner and more efficient manufacturing process.
11kV Switch Board Upgrade
Auckland Hospital
Auckland Hospital recently commissioned a new 11kV main switchboard to enhance power supply reliability across the Auckland Hospital Precinct. HV Inspection Services, contracted by Horizon Networks, carried out the inspection of this high-voltage switchboard, which is supplied from the Vector Network. The installation of a switchboard of this scale and specification provides the hospital with increased security of supply, significantly reducing the risk of power interruptions to critical healthcare infrastructure.
47MW AC Solar Farm
Genesis Energy - Lauriston
Situated west of Ashburton, the Lauriston Solar Farm presented a unique opportunity for HV Inspection Services to deliver comprehensive inspection and certification services. Our work encompassed the photovoltaic (PV) system, energy conversion equipment, and the 22kV switchboard responsible for exporting generated energy into the Energy Ashburton Network. This project highlights our expertise in high-voltage systems and commitment to supporting sustainable energy infrastructure.
32MW AC SOLAR FARM
Lodestone Energy - Rangitaiki
HV Inspection Services was proud to collaborate with Infratec New Zealand to deliver certification for Lodestone Energy’s Edgecumbe Solar Farm. This project involved ensuring compliance and operational readiness of the solar infrastructure prior to connection. The farm now successfully exports renewable energy into the Horizon Networks Distribution Network, supplying clean power to approximately 7,500 Kiwi homes. This underscores our commitment to advancing New Zealand’s sustainable energy future.
